Comment : who can best that this conte des garrigues symbolise those dedicated
and passionate winegrowers, set up in 1964, in the prade hameau? This
dry and sleep Terroir is well suited to great wines developing. Concentration
is definitely the masters feature: this 2003 reveals its superb cacao
character, highlighted with moreelo cherry. Warm, appealingly sweet and
all in harmony, it gets very potent on the palate with an extraordinary
finish. This "conte" also echoes the "cuvee Chant de l'Olivier" 2002
also awarded.
• 15/20 "Terre de Vins" Edition 2005 n°29.
Comment : A fully fruity cuvée, with a modern style and well
matured. The nose reveals candied black fruits, also crystallised red
fruits with notes of honey. Tannins are fine, elegantly present; flesh
is suave with a vanilla finish.

Le Chant de l'Olivier - Vintage 2002 -
• Gold Medal prize at the general agriculture competition, in 2004, in Paris.
• Silver Medal Prize at the Wines competition in Mâcon 2004.
• Quoted in the 2006 Hachette wine guide.
Comment : Near an olive tree, comes a winegrower, feeding his mind,
on his most beautiful plot, he takes pleasure in listening to the melody
song from the southern winds whispering across the silver green leaves.
The Prade Mari has given birth to a vintage of a rare balance, succeeding
in imposing smoothness, complexity and finesse. The attack is round, spicy,
full red fruits. Its vanilla and liquorice structure is also mellow, smooth
with a persistent acidulous length. Ready to be tasted.

Le Chant de l'Olivier - Millésime 2001 -
• Gold Medal prize at the Wines competition in Mâcon 2003.
• 1 star in the 2005 Hachette wine guide.
• 17/20 "Terre des Vins" edition 2004 n°25.
Comment : It has everything to please, a deep robe, with tulle highlights,
a blond tobacco nose, with smoked and brandy fruits flavours, a round,
greedy structure in which jam fruits flavours, cacao and cinnamon mingle.
The whole is obviously toned with velvet and suavity. Suggest it with
honey roasted pigeons.
• 15/20 "Terre des Vins" edition 2004 n°25.
Comment : Elegance and originality in this Grenache- syrah blending aged
in barrel for a year, a dense robe, a powerful and complex nose, of "tapenade"
prune, with floral, woody under growth tinges. The light and velvety texture
on the plate confirms the personality of this cuvee that we could easily
enjoy with "petits gris à la Narbonnaise" snails.
